What Will The Next Generation Of TV’s Offer?

Sales of the television set became increasingly popular in the 1950′s. At that time, people began purchasing them in record numbers. The quality of the picture, which only showed in black and white, was poor in the beginning. However, over time it gradually improved, bringing color with the new progression. The first television set owners of the fifties probably wondered what the next generation of televisions would offer. For them, the answer was a clearer picture and color. Over the years, televisions have systematically improved. What used to be a big, bulky, heavy device has now shrunk down to a lightweight unit only a few inches in width that boasts HD and 3D technologies….but, what features will the next generation of TV’s have?

In the end of the year 2012 or early 2013, a new television may hit the market that uses a special lighting technology to create more stunning pictures than the current televisions have. These upcoming televisions have a faster refresh rate, 180 degree viewing angle, and better contrast. The device is also good for the environment, in that it does not contain harmful metals and it uses less power. Another key feature of this television is its thinness. A prototype of it measures only 0.33mm in thickness.
